Travel Guide: Palm Beach, Florida
Well hello! If you're living in the midwest like me, it has been unseasonably warm. Like, to the point that you know it's not good (thanks global warming). My plan for this Travel Guide was to cheer myself up from the winter blues but TBH I'm not really needing that!
Last month I was lucky enough to head down to Florida for my best friend's wedding! It was a stressful travel day, only because we were getting an ice storm (never actually happened) that cancelled our flight. I may or may not have cried tears of joy when the flight actually took off.
The long weekend was amazing and I wish I could have spent more time checking out the city. In my short window, here's my suggestions!
Eat + Drink
Rocco's Tacos - I'll admit it I only drank here. BUT it was a hot spot on a Friday night. Rocco's Tacos is in a very fun part of town, Clematis Street. Tons of fun bars, restaurants and shops.
Surfside Diner - loved this cute neighborhood joint. It was PACKED when we visited. Also, PB can be pretty pricey so this was a great option that was really reasonable.
The Colony - One word, WOW. The wedding I attended was at The Colony so that's where we got ready etc. It is gorgeous and every detail is thought of. From the gorgeous pool (and some SERIOUS pool side drinks) to each suite, it is an experience.
Worth Avenue Shopping- This area (close to The Colony) is any shopper's dream. From high end department stores to boutiques and art galleries, you could spend a whole lot of time (and money).
Palm Beach - Duh. The weather was gorgeous even in January and I'd love a chance to go back and visit when I have more time to spend!
