Winter Tans Over Everything
Hi guys and HAPPY SATURDAY! It is gorgeous here in KC this weekend, cool mornings, warm afternoons. Perfection for just about any activity. This is one of those days where you have the urge to wear shorts or a cute dress, but then you realize, your skin still thinks it's winter.
I am one of those people that follows the rule; If you don't tan in the sun, you won't tan in a bed. Plus, I'm still terrified from that scene in Final Destination 3 (Don't look it up if you're squeamish. I am aiming to keep my skin looking good as I get older even if I am pasty all year round. This means, I turn to alternatives; self-tanning, spray-tans, airbrush tans...you name it, I've tried it.
Recently I had the opportunity to try some new cool products from Comodynes. What makes these different than the 1 billion other products I've tried is that it is not actually sunless tanning. Instead, it is an 'instant' tan that washes off. The products come in packets which are great for travel. I headed to Florida for work last week and while it was snowing at home, it was 75 and sunny in Florida, so I brought the Instant Tanning packet with me, and voila! Perfectly tan legs in the middle of winter. I also tried out the Radiant Glow body lotion, which is also wash-off for a fancy event. It was great because it doesn't have that stinky smell of self-tanners, and then after the event I just took a shower and went back to normal. I also love this because if you mess up majorly while applying (we've all been there)- you can simply wash it off. No fear of going to sleep with self-tanner on and waking up to a horrifying streak look.
What's your favorite way to beat the winter paleness?
